GOOD TO KNOW
A little clarity
before you start.
Keep your original file until you have checked the result.
How accurate is the transcript?+
Clear speech from one person usually works best. Noise, overlapping speakers, accents and specialist words can cause mistakes. Silence can also produce incorrect words. Always review the result.
Does audio leave my device?+
Your recording is processed in your browser and is not uploaded by this tool. The first run contacts Hugging Face to download a model. Network access is needed for that download.
Does it recognize other languages or label speakers?+
This version is for English speech and does not identify speakers, create timestamps or translate. Split long recordings into shorter clips for easier review.
What if the conversion fails?+
Try a smaller file, close other busy tabs and use a recent browser. Check that the source opens correctly in another player or viewer. Contact support if the problem continues.
